How to get there

The Erwin Hymer Museum in Bad Waldsee lies in the heart of Upper Swabia, between Ulm and Friedrichshafen, directly on the B30.

By Car

From Munich:
Take the A 96 in the direction of Lindau, take the exit Leutkirch-West/Bad Waldsee, follow the B 465 via Bad Wurzach to Bad Waldsee, turning right just after the location sign for Bad Waldsee, prior to the railway crossing, in the direction of Ulm/Mühlhausen.

From Ulm:
Take the B 30 in the direction of Friedrichshafen via Laupheim-Biberach to Bad Waldsee Nord. 

From Friedrichshafen:
Take the B 30 in the direction of Ulm via Ravensburg, Gaisbeuren to Bad Waldsee, and take the exit Waldsee Nord.

By train

Travel directly to Bad Waldsee station

By City-Bus, Linie 4:
From the town or station by City Bus Linie 4

On foot/hiker’s path

Follow the signs for the hiker’s path in the direction of Hopfenweiler; from the town centre, go via the Schützenstraße into the Hopfenweilerweg; after the underpass, go straight on over the tarmac road past the golf course, or left via the field path in the direction of Wasserstall-Gewerbegebiet (industrial estate).

Visitor’s parking spaces

The Erwin Hymer Museum offers more than 600 visitor’s parking spaces free of charge during your visits to the museum or the museum restaurant “Caravano”, or whilst you are making purchases in the museum shop. Parking spaces are available of a sufficient size for motorhomes and caravans with cars.

You can find motorhome parking spaces with a service station in Bad Waldsee at the Waldsee-Therme (thermal baths).
